Admission Procedures

Students interested in pursuing a degree in Art must first apply for admission to the Art Department. Enrollment in all ART classes, beyond ART 100, is limited to admitted majors and minors. To pursue a major, minor, or endorsement in Art Education, Graphic Design, Illustration, or Visual Art, students need to submit an exemplary portfolio and written statement for faculty review. Students interested in pursuing the BA or minor in the History of Art and Visual Culture (ARTHIST) do not need to apply for admission.
